For all of us that wish there was an alternative, and larger, eye cup for our XP2's... here you go!

Eyecups Compatible with Fujifilm X-Pro2 - JJC

Less that $20.00 US for two units. I just order them and will post here once I get them.

I just ordered - it's via AliExpress ...usually takes a fairly long time to reach Israel.

Just ordered. Less than 20 bucks for 2 pcs, free shipping, what the heck . . . I won't wait for the reviews. It takes up to 30 days for shipping to Norway.
Thanks for the head up, Shadowside :)

Bought these from Amazon UK yesterday, arrived this morning, fell off this afternoon.
Mine are a little too flexible and come off far too easily if rubbed. Pretty sure I'm fitting them correctly but not impressed so far. A shame really as they cancel out a lot of stray light from the sides.
Looking forward to your thoughts Shadowside.

Yes my understanding is they have one size that is the same as the OEM and the other (G) is supposed to help with glasses. I echo the hopes that they don't easily fall off, although I have had my XP2 for a year now and the OEM one has never come off, in fact taking it off to confirm was so stiff I thought it would tear...

It'l be interesting to who gets it first as we all ordered it the same day pretty much, but are all on various points of the globe. Just like sailing, it's a race for the cup lol.

EDIT### BTW, I am not above using a small amount of lock-tite to get it to stay if need be - the semi-hardening variety of course.

This is exactly what I have done as I prefer it to the original.

I am aware, that they can come off easy. Why not drop or two of super glue? Just a little, so it can be easilly to be replaced with the help of sharp knife.

If you are going down that route surely a bit of silicone sealant would be a better option. Much easier to remove but would still hold the eyecup in place.

Loc-Tite makes a really nice semi-curing compound. It's pricey, but it works a charm and comes off of most surfaces really clean.

I decided to order one of those last night. It's just arrived (DPD). Well, a pair actually. When I removed the original it seemed like it had been partially glued in (I'm not the original owner) and pieces of rubber stuck into the fixing groove. I managed to clear these out with a fine needle, and put the new one in its place. I had to go round it with my thumb nail, "clicking" it into position, but now it feels very secure and sits nicely. It's not much deeper than the original but it does seem like it will exclude some light leakage around my spectacles.

I just looked on the Amazon US website. $16.99 US or $18.99 US. Not sure I understand why. The url:

    https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_p_85_0?fst=as:eek:ff&rh=i:aps,k:jjc+eye+cups+x-pro2,p_85:2470955011&keywords=jjc+eye+cups+x-pro2&ie=UTF8&qid=1495382952&rnid=2470954011

Only one review (and it was a one star) says they do not fit 'at all.'

Hopefully our experimental colleagues here will be able to fill us in with their experience.

Mine fits perfectly, it's just a little softer than the original one and fell off too easily so I glued it on. Not ideal I know but I prefer it to the original one.
