Just received the X-T2 Metrocase Grip. I've been going gripless for some time to reduce weight and didn't really feel a need for a grip but decided to go for this grip anyway since the one on my X100T seems virtually weightless.

First impressions - as grips go - GREAT! Weight is almost not noticeable on the camera. Much more refined than the X100T grip with smooth seemingly almost polished edges. Not disappointed and it will likely stay on the camera a lot.

Any more impressions/reviews? Looks like a nice product but a little bit expensive if I end up returning it from Sweden if I´m not satisfied
    Thanks in advance,
    Robert

I've been using the T2 Metrocase Grip for almost 2 weeks and it is great. I had been using a leather half case on my camera but I find the "Grip" much more comfortable to use.

I've been using it for over 2 weeks now and really like it. I have one small quibble but I'm not sure how it could have been solved (other than using metal) so accept it for what it is. There is a small bit of flex at the top of the grip likely due to the inherent flex of the nylon and no unobtrusive means to brace the vertical portion of the grip. It was a tiny bit disconcerting at first but it's barely noticeable and once you accept the inherent strength of the material and extreme unlikelihood of a failure easy to ignore and accept. I could not imagine a circumstance where a enough torque could be applied to threaten the integrity of the grip. It is much lighter than the Fuji grip which I also have. For what I most frequently do, which is photography by walking around, lightness is paramount to me.

I am thinking about to get one for X-T20 too but will it make it much bigger?

Not much bigger, but bigger in all the right places, and very little weight. The front grip and thumb area on the X-T10 and 20 are not substantial, and the cameras are so small that it's very easy to have accidental button presses. The grip makes a huge difference with comfort, eliminating hand cramps especially when using larger lenses.

I'm awaiting my T20 grip, which has been dispatched. Probably in the air as we speak, unless it's been bumped off!

My MetroCase for the X-T20 arrived yesterday, and is now on the camera. I had one when I owned an X-T1, and to memory this version fits a lot easier, is neater and less bulky, and just seems to sit closer to the body. It really transforms the ergonomics of the camera - no more accidental activation of the D pad buttons. Highly recommended!

I have Metrocase grips on my X-T2, XT1, and X100T.
    They are superb.
They provide a better fit to my hand as well as providing protection to the camera, a better tripod screw location and a nice light tripod plate.
An added bonus is they weigh almost nothing.
