    Shibuya crossing in Tokyo. It's probably the busiest because you'll always see zillions of people there filming it all.

    Is this a composite image? The light in the bottom third looks markedly different from that in the rest of the picture.

    No, it is just one shot. I just checked the file and it was taken at 6:36:04 pm which was about 20 minutes after sunset here, so I imagine what you noticed are car headlights, maybe? Not sure if this is important but ISO was 12800.

    I like the separation between upper colorful part and lower darker part.

    I don't know, that doesn't look a very busy crossing at all. Seems to me they're crossing everywhere except on the crossing, lol! :) That's one busy place, must be a street photographer's dream.
