Yes it's working. I've also emailed Fujifilm support regarding this issue.

Fujifilm have responded to my email in respect of Silkypix and suggested clicking on properties and changing the compatibility to either windows 7 or 8 which I tried. Unfortunately this hasn't worked and when I ran the operating systems compatibility test it reports the program is not compatible with the Windows 10 operating system.

The latest Windows 10 update has resolved the original problem. Raw File Converter EX 2 is now working fine.

I had hoped Microsoft free 's'RAW Viewer' application for Windows 10 would work with RAF from X-T20, but not. Does anyone know how to load it with a new codec?

I use Mystic Thumbs and haven't found anything raw that it doesn't provide a thumbnail in explorer for. X-T2, and x100f, Win 10 pro.

But presumably does not show them in folder views on Windows but in its own window? Fast picture viewer shows them as W10 ought to!

    Yes, you're right,
To me Faststone has many more features than Windows explorer has.
But, I import to Lr, and cull from there. So, a seperate file viewer is not used that much by me.
Though a person could use Bridge to view and delete RAF files if you use Lr/Ps subscription... it is free

It’s just handy sometimes if you are doing something with files etc to have the thumbnails show up. I use Breezebrowser for actually working with them. It’s worth a tenner for fastpictureviewer! :)

I always use faststone picture viewer, its fast.
From there i go to PS raw and finish with NIK software in PS.
No importing images/raf, no library but just browse.

I just put my card in my pc (cardreader) and copy the files to my external hdd, open up faststone picture viewer and browse..., this is my favorite managing workflow.
