Who makes one?
I can't find any LTM/L39/M39 helicoid adapters that maintain infinity focus. However, something I've done before is stack a Leica M helicoid adapter with an M39>LM adapter. Works great.
Can you explain the stacking process please?
If you have an M39/LTM lens, you can get an LTM to M-mount adapter, which would screw onto the lens mount and convert it to M-mount. Then get an M-mount to Fuji X helicoid adapter, so you can mount that combo to a Fuji camera.
You simply put a Leica L39 to Leica M adapter on the screw thread lens, then mount the Lens (now bayonet mount) on the Leica M to Fuji Helicioid adapter.
L39 to M adapters have been in use since the Leica M3 was introduced in the 1950s, I have 8 L39 mount leneses, most are mainly used on the M3 and on the Fuji, so have the L39 to M adapter on semi permanently, its only 1mm thick.
This is an example:.
Different models are available for different focal length lenses to bring up the right frame lines in the viewfinders of Leica M cameras, this is of no significance on an adapter for Fuji!
Thanks Garry. Will do just that.
