I can tell you from recent experience that Fuji cameras and lenses are no where near the weather resistance or dust proof that they claim to be.

On initial inspection everything survived fine and I don't notice any dust issues. I'll update if I notice anything.

    Excellent, evocative images.
    What location is it?

As Greybeard Photography has said it's A mountain. Located in Tempe, Arizona USA. It's around the ASU (Arizona State University) campus. I think it's officially called Tempe Butte, but locals call it A mountain.

I got caught riding home on the motorcycle in that wind and dust mess yesterday. Fortunately I got to the garage before the onslaught of rain. Welcome to AZ during the Monsoon season.

I was on the top of Camelback a few years back watching it in the distance - spectacular - but I didn't wait around for it to arrive

Glad to hear you are fine. I have been caught in a dust storm or two while riding and once even had to ride home after a down pour on flooded streets. One flooded section I think the bike hydroplaned but it was brief and it stayed up right and regained traction quickly.

I know the 10-24 is not, already sent that in for cleaning.

The 10-24 is not advertised as a weather sealed lens. Neither is the 18-55 but mine survived the encounter.
