The weather forecast for this morning was quite good for a sunrise shoot (40% cloud coverage, sun), so I had the plan to go out and try to capture it. However, as my girlfriend just has a new job that requires her to set the alarm at around 6 in the morning, and I automatically wake up too, my energy reserves were a bit low, and I almost couldn't be bothered. The key-word being, fortunately, almost. Even when I arrived at one of my favorite spots I didn't really expect much. There was some colouring in the sky, but low cloud coverage on the horizon appeared to block any further development. However, it just kept coming! In the end it was as if the entire sky was on fire. And then it just disappeared.. Couldn't resist sharing, and hope you get something of the feeling that I got when I was watching this Fujifilm X-T2 and 16-55/2.8 with a Lee Big Stopper, at iso100, f/5.6 and ss of 104 seconds.
