56mm f/1.2 APD I miss this lens!

    I had a stint with the 56 1.2, and it is a great lens. However I’ve gone back to the APD - and it’s like coming home, I’ve missed it.
    The X-T2 has the LMO which apparently is great for the APD.Some say it’s a gimmick. You be the judge

    I have the 1.2 as well and when used properly it returns amazing results. One of my all-time favoutire lenses.

    I have heard so many say that the APD is not worth the extra cost because there’s hardly any real difference, and sure, the effect is subtle, but I can sure tell the difference and I find the APD to have a very pleasing rendering. It’s one smooth lens for sure. And you put it to good use here too. Lovely captures of beautiful dogs :)
