    Bored, I took some shots of flowers from gardens, mine included. I started digital photography taking flower photos but soon gave up as I wasn't hitting the heights I assumed I would. I am still nowhere near as good as the photographers that inspired me back then but I can live with it now...

    Ian,
    I'm not usually a fan of B&W but this one is terrific. I find in my own photos that the often intense color can be difficult to manage. B&W avoids this and shows wonderful texture.
