Some competition over a particularly good bit of sea (screenshot, file size too large to upload)
I see you got the 55-200, I just love that lens ! Great colors on that picture.
Purchased here from @Bryan O'Hara and in pristine condition. It is really excellent.
Cool pic! I wanna see a video of the surfing action with those long boats.
I've been a user of Werner paddles for many years.
At a whitewater festival, the Werner factory representative took one look at how badly the edges were worn off the blades of my paddle, and gave me a free Werner hat out of sympathy.
I was hoping he'd give me a nice carbon-fiber paddle instead.
I actually said to my partner this morning that next I must try videoing them - I have never used this facility on any of my cameras.
Werners are really popular here and I also used them until I was lucky enough to get a set of carbon fibre Epic's second hand. The light weight and smaller blade sorted out a shoulder issue. Clearly the reps sympathy-response needs recalibrating!
The 55-200 was such a good investment. With the x-e1 in poor light, fog, and heavily cropped I still like the results.
I really like the perspective of the kayaker(s) shot with the windmill in the background. It seems to emphasize the curvature of the earth!
Nice work Kirsty I had that lens once and sold it stupidly
I feel that pain, I have parted with my x100 - sobs on shoulder.
That’s alright, you can always get an x100f.
That I can resist! I am all geared up unless anyone wants to trade some combination of body/ lenses for a voigtlander and appropriate mount...
