Has anyone used face detection on the Fuji X-T1? I have noticed a strange behavior. After taking the shot, an automatic preview of the image comes up in the viewfinder and the preview then zooms to the area where the face is (that is, the detected face outlined by the rectangle). This process takes 2 to 3 seconds and the camera is unusable during this time. Does anyone have any advice on how to put this preview off? I shoot events and most often I cannot wait for 2 to 3 seconds between shots. Thanks for your help!

Never noticed but then I never have preview enabled on any of my cameras.

I have used face detection on my X-T1 on several occasions and it has not acted as you describe so I suspect there is a setting that you have enabled that I do not.
When I use it it just moves the green focus square to where it things that face is in the scene.

@gyoung Good idea - I moved the thread over to the X-Tx section.

In that case not sure what is causing it. I use Face detect and don't have the problem that you are describing. Maybe try to reset the camera to defaults and start from there.
