Yes, Bill, sort of - strangely, it went on for a few years when I worked on sea - always ended up near the QM but never her larger sister - " Queen Elizabeth"! I even recall my ship moving north over the Bay of Biscay in October 1967 - and seeing some puffs of dark smoke on the western horizon and the Captain announcing it was the Queen Mary on her final transatlantic voyage! Weird!

Bom Dia in Portuguese means Good Morning and if I was sailing on her in those conditions it would indeed be a very good one.:D

Nantucket Lightship (WLV612) plus Statue of Liberty at North Cove Marina, Manhattan, October 2008
(Soon afterwards moved to Martha's Vineyard for the summers of 2009/10) Panasonic DMC-TZ1 @ 12mm 1/10 sec @ f/3.7 ISO-200. Can't remember whether it was possible, or whether I even knew how, to change the ISO to something faster for the conditions. Would have been simple with a typical top plate Fuji ISO dial - but ignore the lack of sharpness and the atmosphere's great!

A fine, crisp, beautifully-toned image of HMS Belfast. No wonder the X70 is still in demand and second-hand prices are so high. Whenever something around 18mm is the focal length I expect to use most, that's still the only camera I take along, rather than a zoom or anything heavier. Plus a small tripod, because it takes great ground-level shots and is virtually invisible when set up.

Thank you. Couldn't agree more on X70 being versatile & a great little devil. I'm hoping for the X-Trans4 to be implemented in the newer X70 sometime in the near future.
