Does anybody else have an Arsenal device in their hands yet?
If you do have you got it working with your X-T1? At this point I can’t.

Then it might be exactly what you need ;)

Maybe wait a year or so for them to get it working properly first :D

People have been telling me I am special for my whole life. I'm sure that they mean it nicely so I guess being special has advantages. :D

Hopefully tonight I will get mine working but at the moment I can connect to the X-T1 but that is it. I can't get the App to operate the camera.

I live under a rock... thanks for the heads up Richard. The Sony phone app is just cobblers...

I have had a look at the website for this device and personally I would rather send the money on some photography training to learn how to improve my photography rather than rely on some electronic device.

I specifically want it for focus stacking for landscapes and also to get some sort of a glimpse of how AI will work in future cameras. I'm not going to use it just to take random pictures nor am I under any misapprehension that it will turn me into Ansel Adams merely by having it fitted. Basically its a fairly inexpensive toy I want to play with.

Didn't mean to criticise you or anyone else buying this, just my personal thoughts.

No issues there I was simply explaining my thinking as well. From the comments on the Kickstarter page and in FB groups it seems to me that plenty of buyers do in fact think this device is magically going to turn their DSLR or mirror-less camera that they use in A (for fully automatic) mode into a camera that will give them award winning photos. It's going to be fun to see what happens with this long term. I firmly believe that more sophisticated AI is coming to cameras whether we want it or not so this is a little peak at what the next or one after generation of products might do.

I actually expect that this device will fairly quickly make its way in to the "good idea at the time" photographic hardware box I have but who knows I might be surprised.

Only just learnt about this now. Can you please make a post at a later stage telling us how well it performs with focus stacking? That, and the timelapse settings, are the two things immediately of interest.

I’m going to dob (Australian slang) @Richard_M in here as well because a little birdie told me that his Arsenal is at his local Post Office waiting for collection and he is far better and more experienced at focus stacking than moi. I will comment of the general facets of operation or at this point the frustrations of trying to get things operational (take that as a hint).

I just checked the FAQ page and fuji is not supported. I was hoping that the X-T2 was supported.

X-T1 and X-E2 are both supported. Other Fuji cameras will follow.

The fact they are on the supported list does not of course mean that users can get the device to operate with the camera at this stage. (another hint for those following along). :D

just a thought have you tried setting the x-t1 up for tethered shooting?
X-T1: In the SET-UP menu, go to the USB MODE, and select PC SHOOT AUTO
