    Something about this appeals to me - do I need psychological or photographic help?

    You don't need psychiatric help unless you have a screw loose. These look tight, so you are OK.

    I like that the focus point of the photo (the subject) has good separation against the light background, it makes a nice anchor that my eyes come back to after perusing the photo. But, I feel like I'd like to see a broader view, or maybe see this as part of a series of photos about old barns and farm equipment. Nice job.
