A little bit of smoke art
Godox V860II flash
Is the first one a multiple exposure with different flash filters used?
#3 is my fave - I would love to know how you positioned your camera and flashes.
A month or so ago, someone else was doing the same kind of 'smoke' photography.
I really liked it and wanted to see if I was able to do the same. Here are two of my own:
One thing I learned very quick is to have good ventilation, due to smoke alarm.
But also if the room is filled up with the smoke then you just end up with something that looks like fog.
The other thing is that different burning things give different type of smoke: for example a smoke from just extinguished candle (like above) will have wax particles in it and if you fill up the room with it it can't be good for the lenses.
Above shots: Godox AD600BM, gfx50s, gf63mm, f/8, 1/2000, iso-100 and the color was achieved by adjusting color balance in post.
