Had the same problem even with the Fuji remote. Picked up the Canon and no more issues. "It just works". The Microphone connect seems to get a MUCH better connection than the USB connect.

Me too. After a five hour session with long exposures pressing the HOLD button on the RR-90, I replaced it with the Canon.

I haven't had any issues with my Neewer remote. Admittedly it hasn't seen a lot of use. If it packs up I'll post back here & tell you guys you were right.

I am a bit confused. The bulb setting limits the exposure not below 1 sec.
I have made some tests and it increases the shutter time only by let say 500ms (1/2 sec) which makes the camera useless for me for that reason.
On an canon equipment the shutter stays as long open as I do the contacts. on Fuji it gets over written by an internal timer. there was no step forward by keeping this from the X-T1 and X-pro2 and I guess it will be not fixed. I refuse to buy an other fuji till the bulb function is working as it should be. Pure manual. (but electronic whise)

This for me as well, I have lots of mechanical cable releases since I shoot film as well.
Not to mention for the camera to be fully weather sealed, the ports on the side should be closed, and that way I can shoot bulb in portrait mode.

    Hi.

Seams like they have some problems with early firmware. I tried the RR-90 on a X100F as well. Did not work in T or Bulb ;-).

The late March Firmware Update v2 will allow exposures for 15 minutes in T mode.

Is the OEM wired cable release for XT1 compatible with XT2?
