I was getting my X-T2 ready for my little girl's birthday tomorrow I was checking out the lenses and decided to take it off and I notice at the bottom of the sensor there was a Mark. I blew it with a air pumper and use a light but it didn't move. picture attached it looks like it's on there pretty good I don't think it's something that fell on it I'm wondering if it's a connector to the sensor or something? It loos like a burn mark. I only noticed it just today I don't remember ever seeing it a couple days ago or the last time I use my camera. Should I be concerned should I be contacting Fuji should I try to touch it with a swab one of the dry swabs that you use to clean your sensor?

Almost looks like fungus. Do you live in a humid climate?

Just be mindful that if you cause further damage to the sensor due to an incorrect cleaning technique, you risk breaching the warranty terms. But if it is fungus, dust or pollen, then I don't think cleaning the sensor is covered by warranty anyway. Getting a professional to perform a sensor cleaning might fix it up. And if it doesn't, it will help keep the warranty valid if it turns out to be something more serious.

It looks like a drop of hot liquified Solder landed there an then was pealed off in the factory.
Have you inspected the inside before? Is there a chance you missed seeing this previously?

I'm sure I've seen a previous post on this site with a very similar image of foreign matter on the sensor glass. I tried searching for it but can't find it. Maybe you could try an extended search and if you find it see what the outcome was.

It looks like a burn mark or something like glue.

Half on glass and some on the black plastic. Should I email or call fuji. I got it in September and I take good care of my camera like a little baby. I just use it for my kids and I'm not a pro

That is a weird spot! With the closer pics you posted, it does not appear to be fungus.

I rubbed the black plastic with a swab and senor cleaner and made sure not to touch the senor and just the plastic. Whatever it is it's on there good
